Acire needs offline mode (or stop using internet)

Bug Description
Acire does not handle handle offline situations. I constanty get an error when trying to fetch information about documentation . The error is only outputed on stderr. This is not that important because it still works.
However acire seems to hang when using acire on a network without an internet connection. It hangs on
File "/usr/bin/acire", line 268, in snippet_selected
self.
until a timeout occurs.
Sending kill to acire interrupts the loading and the snippet loads.

Me too, I have an interrupted Internet connection. When I change snippet selection, Acire freezes for 5s to 20s.
I'm obliged to close the connection to work freely.
- Yeah, Off-Line mode could be a nice solution. (Providing help locally or Just a hyper link)
- Or use a non-blocking connection or a thread.
