Bug Description
Currently the tools only work on systems with a logger, like rsyslog, etc and not on systems that only use the systemd journal log. When implementing this feature, we should be sure to support systemd journal with persistent and non-persistent logs.

Yes, please :) Tails will soon be shipping auditd only to workaround this limitation (our Jessie-based branch doesn't include any syslog anymore, only the Journal).
