Bug Description

Kernel oops when shutting down a VM inside a docker container. This seems to be involved and/or triggered by aufs. We've worked around this issue by binding a volume into the container and using that for VM machine storage to bypass aufs, after doing this there have been no more oops.

Call Trace from syslog is in the attached file.

uname:
Linux tbaas6 3.19.0-25-generic #26~14.04.1-Ubuntu SMP Fri Jul 24 21:16:20 UTC 2015 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

apparmor:
Version: 2.8.95~2430-0ubuntu5.3

libapparmor1:
Version: 2.8.95~2430-0ubuntu5.2

docker-engine:
Version: 1.9.1-0~trusty

Let me know what other information if any you need.

You may wish to try with overlayfs, too; while it isn't perfect it feels like it has had more attention than aufs lately.
