Am I assuming correctly that your spawned hornets won't attack an aerial target, or are you doing something different? The more we know about your specific problem, the better.

ok you'r right (D) horent bombs doesn't work on horents because their spawned
but try puting the horent bombs on a harrier or other planes that are
not spawned.

I can confirm that this is an issue, however using any other weapon logic (like a normal maverick missile) works just fine.

Quite likely westwood's lovely targeting voodoo at work again.

Low priority issue as it only affects one weapon in one situation, but someday we can fix it.

It won't work even by cloning both the spawner weapon and the spawnee's weapon and both having AA=yes.

I use FlyBy=yes on the spawnee's weapon, and it doesn't work. It was cloned from the Harrier's weapon, BTW.

That's an issue with spawner logic. Attach the same weapon to a standalone aircraft and it should work.

Both cases (the spawner not being able to target air and the hornet bomb weapon doing the same thing) are, most likely, retarded limitations set by westwood for god-knows-what reason.

I don't know why, but Westwood seemed hell-bent on making damn sure that no aircraft could ever attack any other aircraft under any circumstance...

ROT=1 logic doesn't have true guidance vs aerial targets to work... Its akin to fire and forget behaviour and AA needs true tracking.
