AI Control Command causes a game freeze

As the title says, when you activate AI control of your base, the game soon thereafter freezes. I have tested it many times and have reliably reproduced it in a number of different scenarios, and the freeze occurs around the same time; that is, somewhere in-between the time the AI places its refinery and the time it places its war factory. Another possibility is that the crash could be happening due to beginning to build infantry teams.

I have a .sleepy profile which I ran for 30 seconds after the game froze, hope it helps...
