Random freezes occuring in game

Something's going wrong in the SHP drawing routines... I've seen this glitch before, but I don't have any useful ideas on what's causing it.

I can't seem to find the problem...

I've provided the Artmd.ini above.

Is this a problem inherently with Ares or with a project using it? My mod is also recently encountering this issue and it's definitely not an internal error from the coding.

Which Ares version are you using? Did you try to reproduce it with an earlier version, or without Ares? We can't say if it is an Ares problem or not, because you didn't provide us any info. :P

I can't remember, but it happened in most trunk versions up to 1169.

I'm using the FatBoy now (v02.12.61.1040) and I've yet to encounter the freeze after 3 games...

A bit too early to confirm that it's fixed now though.

I was actually asking redfox34, since the version you posted the bug for can be easily checked in our old bugtracker. :P
Still, at least we know it wasn't fixed before moving to launchpad. ;)

Using 12.120.810. The random freeze still occurs in some games.

Have you tried http://forums.renegadeprojects.com/showthread.php?tid=1476 , namely using the profiler?

This popped out using the profiler.

You're using -SPEEDCONTROL? Are you running at speed 6 by any chance?

I was running at speed 5. But I've encountered the freeze at both 5 & 6.
