HDMI is found to be working with 2013.03 release images at some setups. The issue might be because of failure to read EDID data from certain monitors. Adding following boot-time option to u-boot environment might help.

drm_kms_helper.edid_firmware=edid-1920x1080.fw

@Tushar, After manually added "drm_kms_helper.edid_firmware=edid-1920x1080.fw" to bootargs, HDMI works well now. The full string of bootargs is:

console=tty0 console=ttySAC2,115200n8 drm_kms_helper.edid_firmware=edid-1920x1080.fw root=UUID=a36c3296-1cf0-4481-884f-86f7419e1821 rootwait ro

@Fathi, Can you please add following environment variable to bootargs (through linaro-image-tools)?

the parameter will force the resolution. It will work only on monitor that supports this resolution.

@Fathi, Yes, looks like that, 1920x1080 is a hard code there. I think my TV supports it well.

Now with image 286:

http://snapshots.linaro.org/quantal/pre-built/arndale/286/arndale-quantal_server_20130408-286.img.gz

The HDMI display works well on Samsung Arndale board without manually boot argument setting.
