Can't Install two packages simultaneously

Bug Description

I'm not sure wether it is a bug but using a GUI app you cannot open 2 of that type app at the same time or queue. If it is not a bug it would be a nice functionality.

That has happened to me too but very rarely(only when Firefox was non-responsive)

May be the first one is locking the files needed for the other.

Could you please explain more about this Bug report. You state that you cannot install Two Packages simultaneously, Please explain more about any errors that occur and any messages that pop up.

Also, if you wish to have this added as a feature, is there any other information that you can provide about the errors and why it does not allow you to install 2 apps at the same time. e.g. via Synaptic and a .deb Package.
