Song Import does not handle LibreOffice correctly

Can you supply us with details on how to reproduce this bug please?

Start OpenLp (it helps)
Do not have Impress Enabled
Select Song Importer - Song of Fellowship
Select to import Song and Writer will start after the code has attempted to import the song.

I think the problem is that we had to remove the link between writer starting and the import so they can happen in the wrong order. It is then not possible to tab back and try again.

Additionally on exiting Openlp writer is left open as the shutdown code does not know about writer still running. Presentations if fine though.,

It all works fine for me. Libreoffice fires up OK as the import starts (disabled in presentations), the file imported without error, and then Writer closes when all is done. However I'm on Windows, so it's possible Linux behaves differently.

If so, someone on Linux will have to look into it.

Ubuntu user here. LibreOffice Version 3.6.2.2 (Build ID: 360m1(Build:2)). OpenLP 1.9.12 build bzr2088.

Seems to work. LibreOffice took a few minutes to load the 3MB RTF file but OpenLP waited until it was loaded to start the import. It's taking a while so I can't confirm that it will finish correctly yet but at least it's not displaying the reported bug.

This is still a problem for me.
Dialog opens and says cannot access Impress
Then Impress starts.

I cannot locate the trace back for this error, but from memory it is the same/similar as http://support.openlp.org/issues/1676

Do you think this fix might work on the Presentation plugin maybe with a try.. except.. delay... try again (so as not to slow down the loading of presentations )
