Installer unable to unmount /cdrom

Bug Description

Installer allows me to create partition on SDCard.

Fails when trying to unmount /cdrom

As the installer just hung all I was able to do was quit and let it start the desktop to run ubuntu-bug - no idea whether things like partman.txt are going to be of any use - that shows the freespace on the card.

hmm, it doesnt seem like you pre-created a partition on the SD card as the installer tells you right before switching to the partitioner window. the installer is not capable to unmount a device its rootfs runs from to create a new partition table, this is a known technical limitation the popup message is supposed to inform you about. did the message not show up during your installation ?

Tried it both ways - without a pre-created partition and with one - regardless of which it fails trying to unmount /cdrom
