Behaviour of unity dash in Ubuntu 12.10: What is supposed to happen if I hit "super" type "ter" and hit enter?

I was referred here since ask.ubuntu won't answer questions about alpha-releases.

I'm not quite sure wether it really is a bug, but I hope it is, because if it is intendet this way it totally destroys my workflow and will drive me back to gnome-shell.

Usually if I want to open the terminal I hit super, start typing "ter" and hit enter. Since a couple of days this does not open the terminal but rhythmbox. Unity seems to prefer files over apps, which forces me to switch from keyboard to mouse to open an app.

Usually if I want to listen to music, I don't want to listen to just one specific track. So I usually won't search for a song in the dash. I would run rhythmbox and search for the band or genre in there. I guess that is what most people do.

I tried to teach unity by forcing Zeitgeist to forget everything and stop recording music played. I tried to open the terminal severall times in a row but still, if I do as decriped befor rhythmbox opens.

Is it a bug or is it intention?

Cause if so I think it's a horrible decision.

Otherwise I love how unity is developing.
