Bug Description

In 12.10, the menubar for libreoffice is often (but not always) missing after launching libreoffice. The problem can be worked around by bringing another windows to the foreground then returning to the libreoffice window.

To reproduce:
1) Ensure that libreoffice is not running
2) Open a libreoffice-compatible document. Documents open in fullscreen mode by default on my system, I suspect this is relevant. Notice that the title bar is blank even if the document has a title.
3) Mouse over the menu bar

Expected results:
The menu bar for libreoffice is shown

Actual results:
The menu bar is completely blank

Switching to another window then back to libreoffice works around the problem and recovers both the window title in the title bar and the missing menus.

This is a regression; I believe it broke between 12.10 beta 1 and 12.10 beta 2 [it was certainly before 12.10 beta 2 was released]

I can reliably reproduce this by opening the following link from within firefox. At the dialog asking me what to do, I choose to open the document directly with LibreOffice rather than saving it:

Steve, can you please make a video of the problem and attach it here. We have Marco already working on bug 1026426 which is another libreoffice bug with unity. that bug may also be related.

This seems to be same problem as in bug #1064962, may be they can be duplicated

I just wanted to chime in here. I also am on a fully updated 12.10 (x64) installation and am experiencing the above issue of no menu bar when opening a document (in my case locally).

If I open up a second calc window that window has the menu on it, but unlike the original poster switching back to the "bad" window does not make the menu come back.
