Bug Description

When playing some mms internet radio streams, the amarok UI becomes very slow to respond, even the spectrum analyzer is slowed and seems to be displaying at 1 or 0.5 frames per seconds.

Specific stream example:

 mms://delplata.telecomdatacenter.com.ar/delplata

This is reproducible 100% of the time. VLC works fine with this stream.

I'm using Feisty x86 / fresh install, with the official codecs &etc.

Can confirm this, using amarok-1.4.7, xine-lib-1.1.4 on Gentoo Linux.

Updating to a more recent version of xine seems to fix it, now using xine-lib-1.1.8.

I have the same problem. But xine-lib-1.1.8 didn't fix this issue for me.

Ubunut gutsy
libxine=1.1.8-2ubuntu2~gutsy1
amarok=2:1.4.7-0ubuntu3

I used this stream: http://dradio-ogg.t-bn.de/dkultur_high.ogg

Whereas all the streams previously mentioned in this report do seem to work fine for me, these ones do lag my Amarok UI:
http://radio.hiof.no/nrk-alltid-nyheter-128.ogg
http://radio.hiof.no/nrk-alltid-klassisk-128.ogg
http://radio.hiof.no/nrk-p2-128.ogg
Whereas these are fine:
http://radio.hiof.no/nrk-p1-128.ogg
http://radio.hiof.no/nrk-sport-128.ogg
http://radio.hiof.no/nrk-jazz-128.ogg

The various ogg streams from http://media.hiof.no/scripts/stream_details.php seem to be rather hit and miss on the whole. All of the mp3 streams I tried from that page have worked fine however.

I'm on a fully updated Hardy, with the Medibuntu repositories added if that makes a difference.
