Bug Description

Noise can see what songs are on my iPhone but it can't play them. As soon as I double click on a song from my iPhone in Noise I get a red circle at the left of each iPhone's songs.

Debug log says that:

[_LOG_LEVEL_WARN 15:50:47.403940] Streamer.vala:157: Error: No URI set
[_LOG_LEVEL_WARN 15:50:47.404141] Streamer.vala:157: Error: No URI set
[_LOG_LEVEL_WARN 15:50:47.404311] Streamer.vala:157: Error: No URI set

So maybe Noise can't read URIs from an iOS device.

I am experiencing it using an iPhone 5 with iOS 6.1 and latest Noise version from daily ppa.

the iPhone 5 and iOS 6 are not supported (remember, we are on Ubuntu 12.04, iOS 6 and the iPhone 5 weren't out !)

But also reading songs from an iPhone is not currently supported…

can we get a libimobiledevice newer version? If we can't we should disable the iPhone support function when an iDevice running iOS6+ is plugged in.

I'm able to install libimobiledevice from quantal after also updating libusbmuxd2 from quantal, so yes it's possible to update it.
I've temporary disabled support for newer devices, but I can't test if the restriction works, please say me if you can see your device on next builds.

It's not a bug, it's a feature, we obviously don't support unsupported devices…
