Bug Description

http://10.97.0.1:8080/job/ps-generic-autopilot-release-testing/label=autopilot-ati/81/console is confusing: we can think of an error after an installation (because of the installer log file), when nothing actually happened yet on the machine: One of the first action is to reboot it and the CDU was dead.

The logs needs to explicitely say "initialization of hardware" or something like that to tell we are in the initialization steps and nothing occured yet.

Looking at the log, I see that a timeout for "system started".

The installation steps defined in the configuration file are:
- system started
- install started
- install complete.

I think that if the exception stated what are the remaining steps, that would
provide enough information for you to know what is missing. Do you agree on
that being a fix for the problem?

"system started" means to me "installation done, system ready to be tested".

Not sure telling what would be the remaining steps would make sense, but rephrasing it to something like "intializing for setup" would make more sense, but any better suggestion would be appreciated ;)

I agree that system doesn't mean much. Another attempt before the native speakers come online:

- Hardware powering on
