Bug Description

Hi,

I could not find GDB executable in AArch64 binary packages for Windows: aarch64-linux-gnu-gdb.exe is not present in the bin directory.
Would it be possible to add it?

Thanks,
Benoit.

I wouldn't expect to find the GDB executable necessarily in the package as you can use any gdb to connect to a remote gdbserver running on the same Linux target as the process you want to debug.

However it seems as if the runtime is missing the gdbserver stub - so you can't debug. Bero can you take a look please?

Hi Zhenqiang,
Thanks for looking at this issue!
Do you have a custom build of aarch64-linux-gnu-gdb.exe, or should I wait until the next official release?

Get the latest build scripts:

bzr branch lp:~linaro-toolchain-dev/crosstool-ng/linaro

Follow the README:
https://launchpadlibrarian.net/140633069/README.txt

You can build your toolchain.

Otherwise, you'd wait until the next official release.
