Black screen after suspend with compiz

Bug Description

Binary package hint: compiz

With compiz or beryl on, if I suspend the pc, when I return to normal I have a blank screen where I can see only the cursor of the mouse. I don't have this problem if I don't have any desktop effects. I have ubuntu 7.04 64bit and nvidia 6050le.

This is a bug in nvidia's texture_from_pixmap implementation.

Please can you report whether Bug #96240 is your issue (and whether the workaround described within it makes a difference)?

It is exactly the same, and the workaround gconftool -s /apps/compiz/general/screen0/options/sync_to_vblank -t boolean false seems to work for me, thank you.
