Bug Description
If I have my workstation set up to use a static IP address, I am not able to see the Network-Manger entry for "VPN Connections". If I switch back to DHCP, then entry shows and I can try to connect to the VPN.
Couldn't DHCP and VPN be handled as independent, unrelated options?

Just want to add my support to this feature request, cant really see any logic in the way its handled at the moment.
