Bug Description

i'm convinced the flickering might have something to do with the snapshotting to get the "running app" image for the dash.
however, there's also seems to be a timing issue
in the sequence of opening browser, settings, calculator, facebook - then flipping through sidestage using right edge swipe
at one point, before the calculator settled into view, it appeared "upside down" but only for frame or so
then, going back to the running apps view in the dash - facebook's running app image was the "upside down" calculator

also, wondering why calculator was upside down at all, i was holding the tablet at a solid vertical/orthogonal orientation - so shouldn't have been sensor induced

ok, so i played a bit more. I was able to achieve this after getting the white out scenario.
then while it white out, i flipped through sidestage using right edge swipe - quickly and then got facebook to come up showing both upsidedown, backward & colors swapped (blues and reds are swapped)

after some more swapping, i could see calculator & settings doing this as well....including color swapping (altho setttings is devoid of color so no change)

another weird example of the timing issue. notice in the picture the running app icon for "clock" is actually a upsidedown/backward "dropping letters" image

So the upside-down snapshots /should/ have been fixed. Was dealt with in this bug:

Must check if regression

The lack of smoothness in window animations does need to be addressed still. I'll report that in a separate bug, and mark this one a duplicate of bug 1263741, since the upside-downness was the major issue here.
