Fujitsu MHW2100B SATA drive and 82801HBM/HEM SATA AHCI controller on Fujitsu T2010. Trying to resize partition to set up dual boot of XP and Ubuntu Gutsy. Also tried resizing with gparted live cd 0.3.3-0 and 0.3.4-9, but could not get past startup of CFS scheduler unless I disable USB legacy support, but then CD/DVD in docking station is not recognized.

Tried Mepis and Debian Etch with no success, the partitioner in PC LinuxOS 2007 was able to resize partitions. After that, gparted was able to access and resize.
