Calenders View Click on the List Item, and item's Label do not work in unison

A small video has been attached, demonstrating this. Just keep in mind that the mouse was captured about 40 pixels of where it actually was.

When the mouse clicks on the centre of the list item, over the label:
- The checkmark Activates
- The list item press animation, showing a dark grey backdrop, does NOT activate.

When the mouse clicks on the list item, between the label and the next item:
- The checkmark DOES NOT activate.
- The animation does activate.

Clicking the label should activate the animation.
Clicking the List Item should activate the Checkmark.
