Bug Description
Hi!
I was driving 33km with GPS = ON & "Location detection" = OFF.
I didn't get positions in Sensor Status app in those 40'.

If “Location detection” is off, of course apps shouldn’t get positions. That’s precisely what the switch is for.
The problem is that if you don’t know+remember about the existence and state “Location detection” switch, the “GPS” switch is misleading. That’s bug 1520580.
