in nemo, after selecting a file by his first letters, others shortcuts like 'f2-rename' don't work

In a folder where there's a lot of files, sometime i use the first letters of the file to find it.

right after it, if a want to rename it with the "F2" shortcut, nothing happen.

So I have to select it with the mouse, and then the F2 shortcut is working.

by the way, any other shortcuts doesn't work. (F3 for example)

Nemo is v 2.6.7, running on Mint 17.2
