Bug Description
some time ago I noticed that Geary couldn't send e-mails any more. It just gave an error and advised on removing the conversation from Outbox if the problem persisted.
Furthermore, Geary can't be left accountless (as another bug report on Launchpad suggests), as when trying to remove the only account the "-" button is simply grayed out.
I reinstalled (purged) the application and now when adding any account it returns the error that "username or password" might be wrong (which is not the case) similar to a question on stackexchange
To post a comment you must log in.
This sounds as if you have a couple of issues here. share/geary/ There should be folder(s) for the account(s) you created previously. If you want to configure the same account a second time, please delete the corresponding folder first.
To get started with a fresh installation of the application, please note that the application preferences are stored in ~/.local/
The passwords are stored in the keyring application. You could check if something is stored there.
When there is only one account configured, the "-" button is grayed out. This works as designed.
