Bug Description

The sunset/sunrise times are an hour ahead, currently showing 7:17/19:04 instead of 6:17/18:04.

This may be due to not handling DST correctly.

This is with a location in the UK.

Thanks for filing this bug and for making Ubuntu better! This does appear to be a DST issue. DST started in the US on March 13th and it starts in the UK on March 27th. What do you have your timezone set to?

I think I would expect the times to be displayed in the local time for that location anyway, so not sure why it would make any difference what my system time is at.

Looking at the sunrise time in France, it also shows the times an hour ahead.

In fact, I just tried changing my time zone to New York, and that doesn't affect the sunset/sunrise times...

Also note, this has been an issue for months, just hadn't got around to registering a bug. I'll also update next week, to see how the changing of DST affects this.

Times are now showing correctly, so this is definitely a DST thing.

DST changed back again this week. This is still an issue.
