Pantheon Mail won't log into Gmail account with 2 factor authentification

The Pantheon Mail application won't log into a Gmail account with 2 factor authentification. Not sure if it's right to refer to this as a bug exactly but it does make the application unfortunately unusable for me.

Also thank you for Loki it's been a fantastic experience so far!
