I am not sure if it is a bug or not.

You installed sicherboot, and did not create a /etc/kernel/cmdline with your kernel command line, hence it fails (in the first script). The second one it probably should not fail, but then, if you had created /etc/kernel/cmdline the first would not have failed either.
