Ability to use external XML editors

Bug Description

It would be great (perhaps ideal) to be able to fire up
an external editor for hand-tweaking the XML.

Granted, it could probably be argued that we shouldnt
even be able to hand-tweak the XML since that seems to
be a sort of hack for missing features...but thats
another thread entirely.

It would be useful to be able to use external editors like
gVim and Conglomerate.

Even though we shouldn't *need* to hadn edit the XML it
should be made possible, running find and replace on the XML
source is works beautifully and some days I'd be lost
without it.

This is an important request because of all the
possibilities it opens up and it is simply better software
engineering to keep parts like the XML editor cleanly
seperated. Lets face it there are better XML editors out
there and it is not the main focus of development so
seperating it out should provide an incentive for someone to
improve or replace it (and possible remove it and let the
Inkscape developers focus on their core goals).

If the built in XML editor is removed, then I suggest that an object browser be added.

In complex drawings, an object browser makes it much easier to select elements. So far, I have found more us of the XML editor in this role than as an actual XML editor (though it certainly is useful as an editor).
