ship Inkscape with a faq.txt file

It would be a good idea to include a copy of the FAQ page,
possibly even in HTML format.

The FAQ page itself might benefit from including the date it
was last updated (wiki version of the FAQ already does this)
and a link to where the most recent copy can be found such
as http://inkscape.org/faq/ (which can then point to the
most up to date FAQ where ever it is, since the FAQ has
changed locations a few times already).

As discussed on IRC/#inkscape, after 0.44 is out, i'll
commit on updating this FAQ.

The roadmap toward this is :
- after 0.44 send a mail on user/devel lists pointing out
this RFE
- centralize answers/suggestions on a temporary wiki page
- update appropriately the FAQ on wiki
- extract a text or html from it (to be discussed) embedded
in Inkscape package (root or doc directory, to be discussed)

I think this is still a good idea and is not yet implemented. Maybe we need to discuss the details a bit more, because there must be made a button in the help section to point to this local FAQ-file.

Is this still worth considering? The official FAQs are located online at https://inkscape.org/en/learn/faq/ and Q&A at: https://answers.launchpad.net/inkscape

We have a help menu entry for the website's FAQ since Oct, 2006 [1], so I guess we can close this issue.

If there are reasons to package an .html file for offline usage feel free to report a new issue for future ocnsideration.
