size of sample fonts in drop-down menu from text toolbar is too small

Bug Description

The font preview in the drop down menu is nearly unreadable. I'd like these
fonts to be zoomed in a bit so as to be able to know what are you going to
use actually. At the present state, it is very uncomfortable to select, and
choose desired font - it's simply unclear and gives you no option but
choose and try. It should be fixed.

The main request would be addressed by a preference to have the drop-down
user a larger size. (Requester originally discussed this in the Jabber
room)

Change Importance to Wishlist?

This bug is noted to have a duplicate: bug 172196, but as far as I could understand that other bug is about preview window of the Text and Font option (Shift+Ctrl+T), not about the drop-down font preview on the toolbar, so its not a dupe?

Marking as wishlist since there is a reasonable workaround: you can use the Text and Font dialog to try out different fonts.

Also: how small are we talking, And what OS are you using? I can't get a screenshot while the font menu has focus, but for me (Linux, recent SVN) the grayed-out sample fonts are roughly same size as the font names and the other menu text. This seems a reasonable choice.
