Bug Description
Thank you for developing byobu!
A common use-case for using GNU screen, tmux or tmate is screen sharing across different users.
It would be nice if byobu supported it.
It would be excellent if it provided a modal input like vim's insert mode to ensure that only one user is typing at one time.
(As a side effect, the modal input can also be used to protect a console from accidental input, which can be quite nice for long-running commands on servers.)
