Bug Description
When gedit is launched in KDE with the Breeze-Dark theme active, the line with the cursor is highlighted white even though the text is white. This makes it impossible to read the text.

Expected behavior:
To be able to read the line I'm typing on.
This was the behavior before Ubuntu 20.04 unified GTK and Qt themes. While restoring the behavior would be better than having completely illegible text, it would be preferred to get gedit and the Breeze-Dark theme to actually work together.
Actual behavior:
The current line is illegible. The line is highlighted white even though the text is white.
A screenshot of this behavior is attached.
Workaround:
Move the cursor to another line before trying to read the text, or select the text before trying to read it. This workaround is very annoying.

no longer affects: | kde-gtk-config (Ubuntu) |
Problem is in GTK+ theme. kde-gtk-config has nothing to do with this.
