We have added support for selecting series and updated how default values are selected during the 20.05 cycle, so support for this will be available in the 20.05 charms release.
Also note that there was a issue in the octavia- diskimage- retrofit tool itself that would prohibit retrofitting of Focal images.
This has also been resolved [0] and is undergoing final testing before release to the non-edge channel.
