Bug Description

Alt-Tab works, but Alt-Shift-Tab doesn't do the reverse.

Bug present in 7.10, but I installed 8.04 and it's _still_ there.

See GConf key /apps/metacity/global_keybindings/switch_windows_backward which needs to default to <Alt><Shift><Tab>

Thank you for taking the time to report this issue and helping to improve Ubuntu!
However I cannot reproduce your issue with the current Hardy.
My gconf entry is set to "<Shift><Alt>Tab" which makes the shortcut work for me.
Are you using desktop effects (compiz)? These could alter your shortcuts and cause the problem.
Although this report has no package assigned, I'm leaving it blank now until we can figure out what seems to be the problem in your case.

/apps/metacity/global_keybindings/switch_windows_backward defaults to "disabled" in Hardy Alpha 5. However, the bug is not present when desktop effects are disabled.

This seems to be a duplicate of bug #150702, so I'm marking it as a duplicate. If you think this is wrong you can of course change it back.
