Bug Description

Binary package hint: xchat

I guess the summary sais it all.. To reproduce, send a message "apt://xchat" and hover your mouse over it. You'll notice that it doesn't handle the URL, though it does handle http://, www.something.or.other, and or.com. As xchat is often used to help users, it'd be very nice if we could paste apt://firefox-3.0 instead of "Open a terminal and paste sudo apt-get install firefox-3.0"...

IMHO this is a really interesting feature we should add to xchat, and xchat-gnome too.
Jo-Erlend Schinstad, would you mind to report this feature request upstream to xchat developers?

Changed in xchat:

status: New → Triaged
