mate-panel dies abnormally

Bug Description

My mate-panel keeps dying when I suspend my laptop or sometimes when the screenlock activates/deactivates.

See the following output.

For some reason during mate-panel restart it tries to find snapd installed firefox. I do not use snapd for firefox:
