Bug Description
This appears to be the same bug as below that was introduced in the 6.5 kernel but fixed in 6.6. I started seeing the issue after upgrading from Ubuntu 23.04 to 23.10

Could this fix be applied to the 6.5.0 kernel that ships with 23.10 as I suspect there are a large number of devices in the wild with these Marvell 88SE912x controllers?

Just to add, mine is a 88SE9123 (it's not a typo), but is showing the exact same symptoms as the bugzilla bug on kernel.org
