Bug Description

Binary package hint: pidgin

Pidgin linkifies many kinds of URLs like http:, xmpp:, etc. However, it does not know about apturl's "apt:" links, and does not allow clicking them.

apturl support in Pidgin may be very handy (especially for support conversations), because instead of explaining someone the usage of sudo commands and/or synaptic to install a package, you only have to type an apturl link, like:

apt://ubuntu-desktop
or just
apt:ubuntu-desktop

Attached the patch (debdiff format), that adds support for apturls. Clicking the URLs automatically launches apturl, that offers to install the linkified packages.
