Bug Description

This is based on the following question:
"
Latest swfdec release version is 0.6.6 http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/swfdec/2008-April/001428.html

Current release in Ubuntu 8.04 is 0.6.4

Is Ubuntu 8.04 going to upgrade to 0.6.6 version?

FIX: compile fix for ARM
TEST CASE: Compile on ARM (though not used, it's just a minimal change)

It is a bugfix update, with only minimal changes. It enhances support for users using PulseAudio via ALSA, fixes segfaults with palettized images, and should have no negative impact on the users.

The Stable Release Updates policy (which is described at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates) requires that the submitter to include the following information which is missing from your bug report:

1. A statement explaining the impact of the bug on users and justification for backporting the fix to the stable release
2. Detailed instructions how to reproduce the bug. These should allow someone who is not familiar with the affected package to reproduce the bug and verify that the updated package fixes the problem. Please mark this with a line "TEST CASE:".
3. A discussion of the regression potential of the patch and how users could get inadvertently effected.

Furthermore, Stable Release Updates are usually minimally invasive patches and not entire new upstream releases but if you can provide the extra information required then we might approve it notwithstanding considering the nature of the release. Please ensure you address each change!

Justification: Fixes problems with PulseAudio, and fixes segfaults.
Regression Potential: Almost None.
