Bug Description

If I click on a link as in the web page:
http://www.mozdev.org/community/irc.html
and specify Mozilla Firefox to open this with X-Chat, this last application doesn't connect to the specified server nor the specified channel.

I believe that is much important that if someone starts X-Chat with a command line like this:
xchat-gnome irc://irc.mozilla.org/#mozillazine
...the application obeys the parameter over the program settings.

thanks for your report, it does for me , but not with the running instance of xchat-gnome (which i'd expect) instead it opens a new one and connect trough that one, not confirming.
