Bug Description
Hello,
I think it would be helpful if the gradient stop points could become highlighted, when they are selected from the list of stops, in the Gradient Editor. I'm talking about the little circles along the gradient, on the canvas, which indicate where a stop is.
Currently, they are highlighted red upon mouseover, and blue if they are clicked. So I guess it would need to be a different color.
This would be especially helpful when working with very complex gradients with many stops. I find it frustrating to have to count my way along a gradient, and down the list of stops in the Gradient Editor, to identify a particular stop. But if a stop point could become highlighted, when the stop is selected in the Gradient Editor, it would be much simpler.
Looking at the issue from another perspective, I think it would be equally helpful if a stop, in the list of stops in the Gradient Editor, could become automatically selected, when that stop's point on the gradient, on the canvas, is clicked on.
Also, I'm thinking of reporting as a bug, the fact that when the gradient stop points are dragged along the gradient, on the canvas, the Offset value in the Gradient Editor doesn't change, when that stop is selected. But I haven't yet searched through all the bug reports to find out if it's already been reported. In any case, if this problem were fixed, there would be no need for the stop points to be highlighted. It seems these issues are related, and need to be connected. So after I search for and either find a previously posted bug, or post one myself, I'll add a comment to this, with a link to the other, and vice versa.....unless others post comments here which indicate otherwise.
So, thanks for listening, and for any comments you may add.
All best,
Brynn
