Bug Description

As of today on up-to-date Intrepid, I have an irritating new icon in the Sys-tray applet on my panel. Left-clicking on it opens a panel with Universal Access preferences (sticky keys, etc). Right clicking it does nothing.

Thank you for taking the time to report this issue and helping to make Ubuntu better. Examining the information you have given us, this does not appear to be a bug report so we are closing it and converting it to a question in the support tracker. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but it would make more sense to raise problems you are having in the support tracker at https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu if you are uncertain if they are bugs. I've reopened this bug, as it's been over a year since this has been reported, and it's still a common question. It's obviously not a bug, but adding a context menu to this icon that would permit disabling of the functionality would go a long way towards making removal of this icon more intuitive.

This is not a bug per se. (at least the fact that it is there isn't...)

What needs to be done is make it easier to remove it, or state how to do it more clearly.
But for anyone that needs to remove this icon, all you need to do is go to:
System->Preferences->Keyboard, go to the Accessibility tab and untick the first option (Accessibility features can be toggled with keyboard shortcut).

What we need is an easier (i.e more user-friendly/intuitive) way of making this. This would then be more of a wishlist item than a bug, in my opinion.
