player: when buffering, the "Buffering..." text is blurry

Bug Description
When the player is buffering, the text saying "Buffering..." is blurry and partly hidden (the bottom of the 'g').
Steps to reproduce:
- start playing a stream from shoutcast
- look under the buffering/seek bar, the text saying "Buffering..."
Expected result: the text looks good
Current result: the text is blurry, the bottom of the g is missing, and I suspect the text of having a wrong aspect ratio as well.
