Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

I got 8.10 beta running great on my laptop but when I switched to dual-head (which worked great with the GUI btw), new windows don't show up in the taskbar. The version of gnome-panel I am using is 1:2.24.0-0ubuntu1 and I'm running it on a Thinkpad T60. I'll attach a screenshot of the problem I am having. You can see just a firefox task and evolution task but I also have some other windows open (synaptic, 2 terminal windows and the pidgin buddy list). There are no entries on the taskbar for those windows.

Also, if I switch back to single-screen, it works again.

the applet only lists the tasks on the same screen, that's a known issue
