Menus shows up on the wrong screen with xrandr dual screens

When I click on menus such as a bookmark toolbar subfolder, I expect it to drop down beneath the folder.
Instead it shows up on the first screen regardless if firefox is on the first or second screen/viewport.
The same behavior was also in Ubuntu Desktop 8.04.
EDIT:
I've noticed that this occurs only if firefox was started when there were one screen, and then you extend the viewport to the second screen with xrandr and then move the browser/email client to the new screen.
If you kill/shutdown the applications and start it on the second screen the menus show up on the second screen as it should.
This is still a bug though we have a workaround for it.
