Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Where you trying to install another package at the same time?

The error in the log file is:

debconf: DbDriver "config": /var/cache/debconf/config.dat is locked by another process: Resource temporarily unavailable

Changed in mysql-dfsg-5.0:
status:	New → Incomplete
