Paste problem Ubuntu Hardy

We need more information like version and steps to reproduce the crash. Attach the problematic file also.

By version I mean Inkscape's version.

I can't remember exactly what i have done, but i was using a version of
official repos of ubuntu, and when i used copy and past a simple vector
object (a image formed with a Text Font Tool), suddenly inkspace without
any warning closes, seems a wild SEG FAULT.

i'm a programmer and don't use Inkspace everyday,

We need the EXACT version number, look in Help->About. Also, attach a file that is giving you problems (if you've to create a new one with a text box in it, do it but make sure it makes Inkscape crash).

Sorry, today i was using inkspace in Jaunty, and the error not ocurred.

So you're using another version or what? You've to be more communicative and answer my questions, we don't have psychic powers ;)

Recently i used Inkscape 0.46, built Apr 8 2009, with Jaunty 9.04 LTS. And
error reported not ocurred yet.
