Bug Description
Using the "nvidia" module in /etc/X11/xorg.conf, if I switch to a virutal console (ctrl+alt+F1-6), my screen goes black, and I can't get back to F7 (X). If I ctrl+alt+backspace on F7, sometimes I hear the "sound" of x starting (drums?), but I get nothing on my display. I can always send ctrl+alt+del to reboot the machine. I'm running Dapper Drake. If I switch the module from "nvidia" to "nv" this problem does not exist. I'm running this on an Acer Aspire 1712, using a GeForce FX Go5700 graphics card.
* uninstalling usplash does not fix the problem (I found a similar bug under usplash bugs)
