Bug Description

The shortcut keys (keys combinations) list does not show any shortcut key to open a Nautilus browser window. As many operations require using Nautilus, it would be very nice for working faster and avoiding in part the use of the mouse.

Control+N works great if Nautilus is *already* running. However, if you press Control+N in any other application it will perform the function assigned to that key combination. For instance, if you are in Geany, it will open a new window, etc.

The idea that I proposed is to enable a key combination to open a Nautilus window globally, so you can open Nautilus directly from any application (a bit like using Control+A+D to close/open all active windows). This is a shortcut key that I really miss, and I think that many people can also benefit from it. Even if it is not enabled by default, maybe it could be added to the key combinations available.

Thank you for bringing this bug to our attention. Unfortunately a paper cut should be a small usability issue that affects many people and is quick and easy to fix. I'm afraid this bug can't be addressed as part of this project.

This could be a really useful feature, but it's not exactly fixing a usability bug, it's adding a new feature/capability.
