Nautilus tree view drag & drop / rename

I prefer the "tree view" in my Nautilus side panel. It is very bad that "drag & drop" activities not work in the tree view, you can just move folders or data from the list view to the tree view, but NOT inside of the tree view.
This produces very much unnecessary clicks when you sort a lot of data, because you MUST go one folder higher than the folder is that you want to move.
The same with rename: You cannot rename folders in the tree view (no rename possible with F2 or in the right-click-menue).
